About The Drive <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As We approach the Holiday Season, We at the Kenosha-Racine DSA recognize the economic hardships many families face and the stress of buying a holiday meal while also covering living expenses.

The DSA believes that even our most vulnerable members of society deserve a nice, warm holiday meal!

We are Collecting Food to donate to as many families as possible.
In addition we’ll be cooking Thanksgiving dinners for Residents in our Communities

What\u2019s on the Menu?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each meal package will go to families and neighbors in need throughout the Kenosha and Racine communities. Every package will include a 10 lb. turkey, stuffing, canned vegetables, boxed macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, and packaged dinner rolls\u2014simple holiday staples meant to help make the season a little easier and give more people the chance to enjoy a warm meal with the people they care about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Help!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two easy ways to support our Thanksgiving Meal Drive. You can donate dry goods at one of our designated drop-off locations, helping us collect the items needed to put together complete holiday meals for local families and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also make a monetary donation to our Thanksgiving Meal Fund. Financial contributions will be used to purchase turkeys and any additional food items needed to complete the meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every donation, whether food or funds, helps us provide more people in the Kenosha-Racine community with a warm Thanksgiving meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Donations made from 10\/1\/26 (October 1st, 2026) through 12\/1\/26 (December 1st, 2026) will go to the KR Holiday Drives. On January 1st, 2027, any remaining funds remaining from the two-month period (October 1st-December 1st, 2026) will be released and considered general funds for and of the KR Working Group to be used at its discretion for the reasons stated above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every 5 turkeys will cost us about $100, and we want to get as many turkeys into people’s hands as possible!

Request a Meal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenosha-Racine DSA will be distributing Thanksgiving meals to families and community members throughout Kenosha and Racine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to receive a meal, please complete our short request form so we can plan distribution and serve as many people as possible.
Meal availability will depend on the amount of food and funding collected through the drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
